Black, Orange and Yellow


The first Black-headed Grosbeak of spring appeared in our yard today. He was feeding on the seed block we had hung out in the courtyard a couple of days ago, in anticipation of their arrival.




The male Hooded Oriole is coming to our hummingbird feeders for the nectar. He was joined today by a female.

With the Verdin, House Finches and Orioles crowding out the hummers at their feeders, we're presently working on a design for a separate jelly/nectar feeder
for them.





OSCAR MAYER WEINERMOBILE



TodaY the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile was parked at one of the local hotels. Of course I had to take some pics.


This isn't really wildlife-habitat-related, but it does fit the color theme of this blog post...
